If the resort is on a hot week special, the cost for the room alone for the week per family is only $298! If it isn't a hot week, the deals are still terrific at the highest cost for a one or two bedroom for $799 for a family for the whole week. Keep in mind that some of the resorts are mandatory all inclusive.

Adventura Spa Palace Resort
The weather at the Adventura Spa Palace Resort is almost always perfect. It does rain during the rainy season, but to avoid very heavy rains, I typically try to travel during the month of June. I have found no bugs, no flies, only minute spurts of rain (maybe a total of one day out of seven and much of it was at night after going to bed which was quite relaxing).
Hurricane season is from June to November, but there have only been two major hurricanes in the past 20 or so years. During those hurricanes, the Mexican government in conjunction with the resort owners, made sure the vacationers were very well taken care of, even to the point of the workers at the resorts, leaving their own families to fend for themselves. So don't put off a trip to the Aventura Spa Palace Resort just because of rain because it may not rain the entire week you are there. Do be prepared for hot weather though for the most part. Enjoy your trip and visit Ebay to bid on a few of my weeks at my VIP membership price.
